Hey everyone!
Today I’ll be teaching you how to make a Good News bracelet. I got one of these at church last Saturday.
Here’s mine! I like it a lot, I only take it off when I sleep!
To make this, you will ned 3 common things. Scissors, beads and bracelet thread or anything to make a bracelet with.
The first step is to get 8 inches of the thread
EDIT: I had to make it over since it was too small :c
Next, put the beads on the thread. You have to put them in order. Yellow, black, red, white, green. I will tell you more about the beards later in the post 🙂
Last, double-knot the bracelet and cut the remaining strings! Do not cut them too short or your bracelet will start to mess up. I learned that the hard way.
Now you’re done! These are great stocking stuffers for your dolls on Christmas. Now, you’re probably wondering “Ok, the post is over. What do the beads mean??” Well, let’s get into that!
The yellow stands for Heaven. The Bible tells us that in Heaven the street of the city is pure gold, as clear as glass. In Heaven, there’s no crying, no hunger, no sickness, no pain, no fear-only beauty, joy and peace forever with God.
God wants you to live forever in Heaven with Him someday, but there is one thing God will NEVER let into Heaven. The black color stands for our sins. The Bible says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23) This includes you.
God has a wonderful plan and provided the one way so you do not have to be punished for your sins. The red color reminds us of the blood of Jesus. Jesus’ love for you is so great that He willingly shed His life’s blood and died on the cross at the young age of 33to take the punishment for your sins.
The white color reminds us of something that has been washed. In John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son…” The rest of John 3:16 says “…that whoever believes in Jesus shall not perish but have eternal life”
Pray to God in your own words, or you can pray something like this;
“Dear God, I admit I have sinned and I am sorry. I believe Jesus is Your perfect Son who shed his blood and died for my sins and came alive again. I choose to turn away from sin and receive Jesus into my life as my Savior from sin, so I can have a eternal life. Thank You for loving me, forgiving me and being my Heavenly Father. Amen”
The green color reminds us of things that grow. The Bible says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” You are like a newborn baby in God’s family, the Bible tells us in 2 Peter 3:18 that you need to grow. Here’s some ways to help you grow. Go to church, read the Bible and pray, obey him and witness Him. Tell others about God if they haven’t witnessed Him.
See you later for 24DOCWA 14-15!
Wow, awesome!!!! It has such an awesome meaning!!

I once got a goody bag with good news jelly beans! I think it’s really cute. Who doesn’t like bracelets and jelly beans! This is kind of a weird question, and you absolutely don’t have to answer it, but are you able to move your 6th finger? I’m sorry, please excuse my nosiness, I find things like that somehow fascinating.(I’m so weird, XD!)

Ooh, the jelly beans sound cool! Oh, it’s totally fine! I get that question all the time. I can only move my sixth finger if I move my pinky finger.
